How does the pricing actually work?+
$9.99 a month gets you the whole product and your first 2,000 sends. Beyond that, every send bills at $0.002 on Mailapp delivery — or $0.001 if you bring your own SMTP. No tiers to jump, no per-contact tax: send 100K one month, 5K the next, and you only pay for what you actually shipped.
Are contacts really unlimited?+
Yes. Upload 100 or 100 million — storage is on us. We charge for the work we do (sending emails, validating addresses), not the rows in your database. Dormant subscribers don't cost a cent.
Is there a free plan or trial?+
Not anymore. $9.99 a month is our minimum — you can cancel any time, but we don't run a free tier. We'd rather build for paying customers than optimise a funnel for ones who never will be.
What if I send fewer than 2,000 emails one month?+
You still pay the $9.99 base. The first 2,000 sends are included — use them or not. Anything above bills at the per-send rate.
Bring my own provider — what changes?+
When you connect your own SMTP / ESP (SES, Postmark, SendGrid, whatever), the overage rate drops to $0.001 per send. You pay your provider for delivery, we charge for the lifecycle layer only.
How much does email validation cost?+
Packs start at $5 per 1,000 verifications and drop to $3 per 1,000 at 100K+. Credits never expire. Industry list price is $8–10 per 1,000 — we pass through what bulk providers charge us, no markup.
How does this compare to Mailchimp / Klaviyo / Brevo?+
Send-based with unlimited contacts. A 200K newsletter list that emails weekly works out to roughly $1606/month on Mailapp; on Klaviyo or Mailchimp the same audience costs $400–$1,000 because they tax every dormant contact. Bring your own SMTP and we halve the per-send rate on top.
